Ebomé Hospital recently organized an intensive ophthalmology campaign aimed at reaching patients who otherwise have little or no access to specialized eye care.
During the campaign, numerous patients were screened and evaluated for visual impairments, allowing the identification of cases requiring surgical intervention.
At the same time, local nursing staff received targeted training in eye care practices, helping to ensure continuity of services and strengthening local capacity beyond the duration of the campaign.
