In August 2025, AMBALA established a collaboration with the Raúl Delgado Foundation to provide remote biomedical technical support for Ebomé Hospital, addressing the absence of local specialists in this field.
The value of this partnership became clear when a critical failure affected the hospital’s anesthesia machine. With remote guidance from the foundation’s team, the issue was successfully diagnosed and resolved.
Beyond solving urgent technical problems, this collaboration is also building local capacity by transferring knowledge to the hospital’s maintenance staff, improving equipment reliability and ensuring continuity and safety of care.
