Malaria remains the most prevalent disease treated at Ebomé Hospital. Between January and October 2025, 1,056 patients were admitted with severe malaria, with only 6 deaths recorded—an exceptionally low mortality rate for the region.

These results are made possible through access to highly effective modern antimalarial drugs, rapid diagnostic and treatment protocols, and continuous 24/7 emergency care for the most critical cases.

Ongoing pharmaceutical support is essential to maintaining these outcomes, helping protect the most vulnerable populations—especially children and pregnant women—from one of the leading causes of death in the area.
